Cube. London's Hospitality Staffing Agency.
Built by People Who Started at the Bottom.
Cube is a London hospitality staffing agency supplying vetted waiters, bar staff, chefs, hosts and kitchen staff to hotels, venues, caterers and event companies across Greater London. Established in 2009, we have spent over fifteen years building one of London's most trusted hospitality staffing operations from the ground up. This is how we got here.
Where It Started

In 2007 Michal Orlowski was a university student picking up waiter shifts to fund his studies. Michael was running a boutique hospitality staffing agency. That is how they met. Michal worked for Michael's agency, learned the industry from the floor up and discovered very quickly both what a good staffing agency looked like and what the bad ones were doing wrong.
Two years later, in 2009, they decided to stop working for other people's agencies and build one of their own.
Their first office was a corner table at a Starbucks in Moorgate. No reception. No filing cabinets. No team photo on the wall. Just two people with a laptop, a phone and a very clear idea of the standard they wanted to set. They called the business Metro Hospitality and they started supplying catering staff to London's hotels, venues and caterers.
It was a small operation but it was built on one principle that has not changed since. Only send people you would genuinely trust to represent your own business.
Growing Into Something Real
By 2011 Metro Hospitality had outgrown the corner table. They moved into their first proper office in Camden. The client list was growing. The team was growing. And the reputation for sending experienced, reliable staff was starting to open doors that most new agencies spend years trying to reach.
The model worked because it was built on relationships rather than volume. Clients came back not because Cube was the cheapest option but because the staff they sent were the right people for the job. That distinction mattered then and it still drives every booking today.
In 2014 they launched a second brand, Ultimate Staff, supplying model waiters and promotional staff for events where presentation was as central to the brief as service. Both brands were supplying some of London's most demanding hospitality operations. The reputation was established. The infrastructure was in place.

The Technology That Changed Everything

In 2020 Michal and Michael made a decision that defined what Cube is today. They partnered with Rota, up to that point a competitor, to access what was at the time the most advanced staffing technology available in the UK hospitality market.
The result was a platform that gave clients something no agency in London was offering at the time. Real-time booking visibility. The ability to place and manage bookings directly through an app. Live timesheet approval. Full cost control at every stage of every event.
To mark the transformation they brought both brands together under a single identity. Cube.
The name reflected what they had built. A single, solid, dependable structure. One agency. Every role. The same standard every time.
The Clients Who Trusted Us
Since the rebrand in 2020 Cube has become the agency of choice for some of London's most discerning hospitality operations. The Dorchester. Sofitel. Ham Yard Hotel. The Biltmore. Bucks Club. Mosimann's. Cellar Society. These are not clients who accept second best and they have been with us for years because we have never given them reason to look elsewhere.
Each of these relationships started with a single booking. Someone needed reliable staff for a high-profile event, took a chance on Cube and found that what we said about ourselves was true. The staff showed up. They knew the job. And when something needed sorting, someone picked up the phone.
That is still how every client relationship at Cube begins.

What Has Not Changed
Fifteen years is a long time in any industry. The clients have grown. The technology has changed. The team has expanded. The address is no longer a Starbucks in Moorgate.
But the principle that Michal carried from his first shift as a waiter in 2007 has not changed at all. The only thing that matters at an event is what the guest experiences. Everything else, the agency, the technology, the booking system, the branding, is infrastructure in service of that single moment.
Every member of staff Cube places has been individually interviewed, reference-checked and assessed before they work a client event. Not because it is a policy. Because it is the only way to send someone you would genuinely trust to represent your business.
That is what Cube has always been. That is what it will always be.
